Sanmark Wins Awards for Best Business Practices

Sanmark Ltd. was honored not once, but twice in the last few months with awards recognizing Sanmark as an elite company that exemplifies the highest qualities of best business practices. Only Sanmark and one other company from thousands of companies participating were honored as recipients of both of these coveted awards.
The first award received in September of 2006, recognized Sanmark as one of the leading entrepreneurial companies in Dalian, China. Dalian is the major economic and technical center and a leading metropolitan center for Northeast China.
Companies were judged on innovation, technical expertise, progressive corporate culture, social responsibility and rapid growth as characteristics that best expressed the entrepreneurial spirit. The ten companies selected included corporate giants like Dalian Port Authority, China Petroleum of Dalian and leading companies in pharmaceutical, microelectronics, real estate, banking, and utilities. Sanmark’s president, Michael Qu gave the keynote address, representing the ten winning companies.
The second award in January, 2007, honored Sanmark as a responsible example of business development with the most potential for long-term sustained growth and expansion. This award is given based on corporate integrity, ethical business practices and being a good corporate citizen. Awarded by the Business Development Research Group, a Dalian based agency, to only ten companies out of several thousand, this award recognizes that the long-term success of a company is based on a sound corporate culture and as a good local corporate citizen. Businesses receiving this award represent practices for all other companies to strive for.
Michael Qu noted that Sanmark’s dedication to quality and science are critical to success and growth in the nutrition industry and has enabled them to penetrate both the US and the Europe with high quality natural oils for the food, supplement, cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets. Consistent growth and success in these international markets requires excellent business-to-business communications supported by excellent and consistent quality, proper controls and oversight systems in place, and innovative new products for the customer.
